I have a 5W LED star

I have a 700ma powerpuck to run the LED

Can I use this extra power cord I have laying around. Its output is 12vdc 1amp.

P= .7 x 12=8.4 watts
your load is less than one amp your cord although small is rated for 1 amp..the LED runs on a 7-7.5vdc DC source ..your power puck is set up for 32vdc are you sure your doing the right one…just an observation..Sometimes I make mistakes go back and make sure the Forward voltage and the power supply output are a little closer a 9vdc will most likely work just as well..If the 32 vdc works it will sure be bright enough…:)….From the E
