Wired White
May I wire a bath exhaust fan and light from two switches and use a common grounded wire(white wire).?
As long as the combined amps of both is less than the rated amps of the wire itself. If the appliances are rated in watts, Amps X Volts = Watts. As to wire size, #14 wire is rated for 15 amps, #12 wire is rated at 20 amps. Your current will be 110-120 volts (in the US).
