Dual Coil
what kind of amp will power 2 12″ dual coil 4ohm alpine type r subwoofers?
they are 500 rms and 1500 max each, i would liek to know what amp would be the best choice, thanks.
A Kicker ZX1000.1. It will be a little pricey, but it’s CEA compliant meaning that it really puts out 1000 watts at 1 ohm, which is perfect for what you need. You could take into consideration that your speakers RMS rating might go down with a large vented enclosure. Double check to make sure.
